What materials will I need?

By taking this course it's assumed that you are an experienced painter and have the basic supplies such as acrylic paints, brushes, and so on. Since we will focus on acrylics & mixed media you will need the following materials.

  • 10 sheets of 22 x 30" 140 lb. watercolor paper (Robert uses cold press)
  • Variety of acrylic, or shellac inks - Your choice of colors
  • Charcoal and/or graphite sticks/pencils
  • Artist grade crayons - Robert uses caran d'ache (choose 4-5 colors to start)
