This class filled in a big blank for me - that it's essential to start with a plan - a rough sketch of what you want to do. As someone new to painting I thought the creative endeavor came from a mysterious place - this class helped me see that painting, like anything, is best undertaken with an overall objective and idea of "where you want to go with it." Thanks. This was really helpful.

I think you are teaching a method that is not taught much and that is to paint loose and free but to do it from an informed standpoint.

Is this a live event? Do I need to be present a specific time?

No. Since we have students from all over the world, it makes it impossible to schedule live courses. These lessons have been pre-recorded so that you can watch anytime and anywhere as long as you have high-speed Internet connection on a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

You can watch the videos in parts if you can't watch the entire video all at once. You can forward and rewind the video lessons from your instructor as often as you wish during your enrollment in the course. This is an added bonus, because everyone knows that there is no rewinding instructors information when taking a physical workshop. We made it easy for anyone in the world to learn from the very best.

Do these courses need to be viewed on desktop computer only?

No. As long as you have high-speed Internet connection our courses can be viewed on a desktop, laptop or mobile device.

As a rule, it is always helpful to have the latest version of the browser you are using to minimize any difficulties.

Do I need a fast Internet connection?

Yes – it will help alleviate frustration.  All Painthog courses stream in HD. A minimum download speed of 5.0 Mbps is recommended to stream video lessons and attend these courses.

You may check with your Internet provider (ISP) or click here to visit and test your download speed before enrolling in a course.. If your system downloads at less than 5.0 Mbps you will experience streaming video issues and this makes watching unenjoyable.

For our international and frequent traveling students we recommend checking this handy link for internet speeds across the world to see if you'll have good connection.

Lastly, if you can watch this video without interruption then your Internet is most likely fast enough for our courses.

Can I get a refund if I can't complete course or workshop?

No refunds are available. We offer credit to take another course when your time allows.

What level of computer knowledge will I need for the courses & workshops?

A basic level of computer understanding is needed. Our technology is simple and very easy to use! If you can browse the Internet, type in a password, play a video, upload a photo then you can easily attend our courses.
